DriveSafe: One Month On From the Expo — Momentum Building
It’s now been nearly a month since we launched DriveSafe at the Expo Torrevieja and what a month it’s been. The response from the community has been incredibly positive, and it’s confirmed what we believed all along: there is a real appetite for a safety-focused, confidence-building driving initiative designed specifically for expats.
Over the past few weeks we’ve had many in-depth conversations with drivers who told us they want to feel safer, more confident, and better informed on Spanish roads. That enthusiasm has translated into a very strong early take-up for our DriveSafe Pilot Program, which will officially kick off in the New Year. We’re excited to start working closely with our first group of participants and refine the experience before rolling it out more widely.
We’ve also been in promising discussions with several insurance companies about developing a PassPlus-style advanced safety course tailored for the expat community. The goal is simple: create a structured, practical course that not only improves skills, but could also offer meaningful insurance benefits to participants. These conversations are ongoing, but the early signals are very encouraging.
As we head toward the New Year, the momentum behind DriveSafe is growing faster than we could have hoped. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, shared your stories, or signed up for updates — this project is already taking shape because of you.
