What is DriveSafe?
DriveSafe is a specialist in-car coaching service* designed for expats and tourists in the Costa Blanca area
The UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office has highlighted how many Brits struggle when driving overseas — with two-thirds experiencing problems, and tourists up to three times more likely than local drivers to be involved in an accident. They even noted that Britons are almost twice as likely to die on the road in Spain as in the UK. At DriveSafe, we turn those statistics into solutions — helping drivers adapt smoothly, stay aware of local habits, and enjoy the freedom of the road with confidence and peace of mind.
Our former UK Approved Driving Instructor coaches provide practical, real-world guidance on local roads, signage, and roundabouts — helping you feel calm, capable, and in control behind the wheel. We help drivers build confidence driving on the right-hand side of the road, understand local traffic rules, and adapt safely to Spain’s unique driving conditions.
We offer a range of courses tailored to the level of coaching you want. Each one includes our Top 12 Tips for Driving in Spain, helping you put them into practice while developing stronger Driving Habits and greater Road Awareness.

DriveSafe Pilot Programme
Limited Complimentary Spaces Available
DriveSafe is currently running a Pilot Programme for Safer Expat Driving — a community initiative designed to refine our course materials and support safer, more confident driving across the Costa Blanca.
As part of this launch, a limited number of complimentary places are available on both DriveSafe Essentials and DriveSafe Plus.
These sessions are identical in content and quality to our full courses — we simply ask for your feedback at the end to help us improve the DriveSafe experience.
